What is The Brown Lion Bazaar?
The Brown Lion Bazaar is an online lifestyle store offering handmade wooden crafts, textiles, and carefully curated world finds. Inspired by travel, craftsmanship, and ethical living we try to bring a touch of the bazaar to modern life.

Who runs The Brown Lion Bazaar?
We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Suffolk, UK, combining decades of travel, creativity, and craftsmanship to create and source products that tell a story.

When will you officially launch?
We’ve soft launched for now to test the water and will be gradually expanding the brand and products. Follow us on Instagram @thebrownlionbazaar.

Orders & Products

Where are your products made?
All our handmade wooden items are crafted in our Suffolk workshop using reclaimed and responsibly sourced materials. Our fabrics and curated pieces come from ethical suppliers, small businesses and artisans around the world where possible.

Are your items handmade?
Yes — most of our products are handmade in small batches, which means each one is unique and may vary slightly in finish or colour.

Will items be restocked once sold out?
Some pieces are one-of-a-kind, while others can be remade in limited runs. If something you love is out of stock, contact us — we’ll let you know if more are on the way.

Do you take custom or commissioned orders?
For our wooden and crafted items, yes — we occasionally take bespoke commissions. Get in touch at hello@thebrownlionbazaar.com with your idea.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?
Initially we’ll focus on UK deliveries, but we plan to add international shipping eventually. Keep an eye on our updates for news.

How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch in 3–5 working days, however, if it's a one-off made item it may take a little longer and we will be in touch in that case. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is on its way.

How much does shipping cost?
Currently UK shipping costs are included in the price shown.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?
If you’re not completely happy with your order, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange (excluding bespoke or personalised items). Please email us before returning anything.

What if my item arrives damaged?
We take great care in packaging, but if something arrives damaged, let us know right away with photos, and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.

Sustainability & Ethics

Are your materials sustainable?
We try our best. We use reclaimed wood, recycled packaging, and responsibly sourced materials wherever possible. We also try to source from small businesses and artisans who share our values. Our goal is to create beautiful, lasting items whilst reducing negative environmental impacts and maximising opportunities to contribute to society

Future Plans

Will you have a physical shop?
Not yet — we’re online for now, but we do plan to appear at selected markets and fairs, and we’re exploring future pop-up spaces.

What’s next for The Brown Lion Bazaar?
Alongside our online store, we plan to expand into creative collaborations, homeware, and eventually offer holiday stays inspired by our brand’s global aesthetic.
