Formed from reclaimed timber, this board brings together a series of carefully selected strips — each with its own tone, grain, and history.
Warm browns, honeyed yellows, and deeper notes run the length of the piece, creating a natural rhythm across the surface. No stains have been added; the variation comes entirely from the wood itself — offcuts and remnants, brought together and given a new purpose.
Each strip has been cut, shaped, and joined by hand using food-safe, waterproof adhesive, before being finished with a nourishing blend of food-safe oil and wax. The result is a smooth, tactile surface that highlights the natural character of the timber.
It works beautifully as a serving board or table centrepiece — a place for bread, cheese, or shared dishes — where the material itself becomes part of the experience.
While suitable for light food use, it is best treated as a serving and presentation piece, preserving the surface and the story it carries.
Each board is entirely unique. The combination of woods will never be repeated.
